B Braun Ecofix Air Vented IV Infusion Set is a medical device used to fluid medicine into the patient body and is used with hard plastic bags or glass containers which require a vent to allow fluid to flow. 

These are made of latex free medical grade material which prevent the risk of allergic reactions. These Vented IV Infusion Set includes a precision air vent for smooth fluid flow, a transparent drip chamber for clear visualisation, and a flow regulator for accurate control. 

It has a Y connector used to add drugs and other medications attached with the flexible Kink resistant tube for easy administration.

Instructions for Use Air Vented IV Infusion Set:

• Firmly close the flow regulator or roller clamp.
• Remove protective cap from piercing spike & Insert the piercing spike to Its full length into the top of the upright standing solution container.
• Squeeze the drip chamber till it is half filled.
• Remove the protective cap of the needle by holding upright.
• Open flow regulator to allow fluid to fill tubing with solution till all the air entrapped in the tube are fully displaced from tubing then close the flow regulator.
• Perform venipuncture & regulate flow by using flow regulators gradually to achieve the desired flow rate.

Safety Information:

• Do not use it if the seal is not intact.
• Do not use it if the package is opened or damaged.
• Do not use if protective caps are detached.
• Discard after single use.
